My name is James N. Gilbreath. In May 2003 I graduated from Oak Mountain High School as a National Merit Scholar. Therafter I attended the University of Alabama and graduated in August 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Russian and Anthropology.
I recently graduated from the University of Alabama with my Master's degree in Library and Information Studies. I am presently searching for an adademic or special collections librarian position, but I am certainly open to other posibilities.
During the last year, I was employed as a Graduate Assistant at the W.S. Hoole Special Collections Library. For most of 2008, I worked as a reference intern and assistant. Most recently, I processed manuscripts and manuscript collections.
Currently, I am employed part-time at the North Shelby Library in Shelby County, Alabama. I work at the circulation desk where I am able to assist patrons. I am also employed at The University of Alabama at Birmingham in the department of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
